About a month ago, Aisai, my wife, had her performance evaluation at work. She�s been working for the Underground Lair for about eight years. She started in a very important and underpaid position which was funded by the federal government but her pay was laundered through an EDU and an ORG before it got to her. The work she did, oddly enough, was most beneficial to the federal government, go figure. She then moved into the world of Accounting.

For a few years, she was accounts payable. They always put the least qualified accountant they have in this position. Think about it. Who cares if my bills get paid, I want my money! Thus, more highly trained accountanty types work in accounts receivable.

And thus is the position of lil� Aisai currently.

However, during the performance evaluation, it was noticed that rather than having a degree, like many people in such accounting positions, Aisai has never even taken one accounting class.

�Off to school with you! We will pay!� They howled.

But, Aisai got bronchitis the week before school started. She wasn�t able to go the first Tuesday, and then on the second class, on Thursday, there was no class, the teacher was out of the country, and hadn�t left a syllabus.

Ever had that dream where you have a test you haven�t studied for and didn�t know was coming?

The teacher called Aisai�s work phone at lunch and left a message.

There is a test tonight.
